YouTube's Trust & Safety team is on the frontlines of protecting viewers, content creators, and the integrity of the platform globally. In this dynamic Engineering Analyst role based in Hyderabad, you will work at the critical intersection of big data analytics, anti-abuse infrastructure, and artificial intelligence. You will investigate fraud and spam, identify product vulnerabilities, and run data-driven experiments to mitigate platform abuse. A major highlight of this position includes designing and refining prompts for Large Language Models (LLMs) to enhance their ability to detect and classify toxic content at a global scale.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent practical experience) combined with 1+ years of quantitative experience identifying patterns, generating summary metrics, and drawing insights from large data pools.
  • 1+ years of practical experience querying and scripting using at least one major language like SQL, Python, R, or C++.
  • 1+ years of experience defining clear project scopes, setting delivery milestones, and managing cross-functional technical workflows.
  • Ability to construct, test, and tune high-precision prompts for Large Language Models (LLMs) alongside managing data labeling and inference accuracy analysis.
  • A Master's degree in a highly quantitative discipline or hands-on familiarity with machine learning platforms, data mining systems, and custom A/B testing frameworks.
  • Exceptional English communication skills to deliver technical findings smoothly across international operations and global engineering partners.

Additionally, the role requires on-call work over weekends on a rotational basis.
